Hyderabad, April 20 (Agency) The city police have busted a cricket betting racket by arresting three persons and seized net cash of Rs 1.20 lakh, two cell phones from their possession. On credible information, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Falaknuma Police conducted raid on a house at Nawab Sab Kunta in Falaknuma here an apprehended three persons Shiraaz Taleeb (Bookie),Syed Ghouse (Punter) and Shaik Fasiullah (Punter) on Tuesday night, when they were accepting cricket bettings on the ongoing IPL-2022 matches, a police release said on Wednesday. The accused persons along with the seized property was handed over to Station House Officer (SHO) Falaknuma police station for further investigation.
