Women’s Euro 2022 final sold out

London, April 19 (Agency) UEFA Women’s European Championship 2022 final at the Wembley Stadium has been sold out. The final on July 31 is set to break the attendance record for a women’s football match in England. All 87,200 tickets have been sold, BBC reported. The current record is the London 2012 Olympics final, when the United States defeated Japan in front of 80,203 spectators.

England’s three group matches have also sold out. Manchester United’s Old Trafford will host the opening ceremony, followed by England versus Austria at the 73,200-capacity stadium on July 6. More than 30,000 fans will then witness England play Norway on July 11 in Brighton, and England against Northern Ireland on July 15 in Southampton.
