AAP MLA complains Delhi Govt over alleged harassment by Pvt school

New Delhi, April 10 (Agency) Karol Bagh MLA Vishesh Ravi has urged the Delhi Government for its immediate intervention in the alleged harassment and mistreatment by Bal Bharti Public School of its students over non-payment of the fees. The AAP leader has written to the Education department and asked for a report on the matter. Ravi claimed that the school has withheld the annual results of the students who have not paid the fee. He also said that even if the parents have failed to submit the fee, the school has no right to behave indifferently with the students. “Even if the parents have not paid the Development Fee & Annual Charges, the school does not have the right to withhold the annual result of the students who have not paid the fees.

Such an act is immoral as it shows that school is inhumane in its approach,” he alleged. The parents have complained that the school administration has resorted to inhumane behaviour shown by the school faculty when a student was sent to the “Art Room” as DETENTION for non-payment of said charges/fees in front of peers,” AAP leader alleged further. Stating further, Ravi also alleged that the school is not following the Delhi High Court’s order of providing a rebate on school fee “The school has not been granting 15% rebate in the overall fee as directed by the Delhi High Court and has gone on to harass & mistreat the students who have even paid the Tuition Fee charges without 15% rebate,” he said.
