Jammu, March 22 (Agency) The Jammu and Kashmir Police Hockey team took home the Hockey J&K UT Championship title by defeating Jammu Central. J&K Police outclassed the Jammu Central by 5 goals to 3 in the well contested match played at K K Hakku Astro Turf Hockey Stadium here. Jammu Central scored two early goals and took lead in the match stunning the star studded J&K Police.
Gagandeep Singh converted the penalty corner into goal and Satvir Singh scored the second goal for Jammu Central. For the winning side, Pardeep Singh, Sarvant Singh, Prabhjot Singh and Jaspreet Singh scored the goals. Rajeev Sharma, President, Hockey J&K announced cash prizes of Rs 31,000 and Rs 21,000 for winners and the runners up. Twenty teams participated in the championship.
