New Delhi, March 8 (FN Agency) The third round of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia got over on Monday with the Ukrainian side saying “there are small positive developments in improving the logistics of humanitarian corridors.” Ukrainian Presidential office advisor Mykhailo Podolyak, who was part of the delegation, said on Telegram that “intensive consultations continued on the basic political block of the regulations, along with a ceasefire and security guarantees.” The third round of the negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations took place in the Brest region of Belarus, the Russian Embassy in Belarus said.
The Russian delegation was headed by Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin, Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov and the chair of the Russian lower chamber’s international affairs committee, Leonid Slutsky. The Ukrainian delegation included adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office Mykhailo Podolyak, head of the faction of the ruling Servant of the People party in the Ukrainian Parliament Davyd Arakhamia, Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov and other Ukrainian politicians.
