Physical classes in Delhi from April 1

New Delhi, Feb 25 (Representative) Hundred per cent physical classes will resume in Delhi schools from April 1, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Friday. Announcing removal of all restrictions from February 28 on movement and time-bound business operations in the city as well, he added that penalty for not wearing face masks will now attract only Rs 500.

The latest announcement will put an end to the night curfew and the 50 per cent capacity rule at restaurants and bars. The penalty for not wearing a face mask in public has been brought down from Rs 2,000 to Rs 500. The decisions were taken in a review meeting with Delhi Disaster Management Authority, Kejriwal said. “DDMA withdraws all restrictions as the situation improves and people facing hardships due to loss of jobs. “Schools to function fully offline from 1 April. Fines for not wearing masks reduced to Rs 500. All should continue following Covid appropriate behaviour. Govt will keep strict watch,” Kejriwal tweeted.
