Aurangabad, Feb 23 (Agency) Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists on Wednesday held a demonstration in front of district collector’s office, protesting against the murder of Bajrangdal activists, Harsha at Shivamogga in Karnataka state on February 20. They also demanded a ban on the Popular Front of India, Campus Front of India and Social Democratic of India warning that if their demands are not met then the VHP will fight against them as per the constitution in Karnataka.
VHP activists were led by Prant Mantri Ramdas Lahabkar and city chief Shailesh Patki who along with the others were detained by the police. The VHP activists alleged that the said organisation are part of the banned organisation SIMI, responsible for spreading poison among the minority community which should be stopped. They further warned that those political parties supporting such organisations, should think seriously and said Hindu community and it’s leadership is capable of dealing with them. However, law will take its own course, they added.
