Mithali, Jhulan retain 2nd spot in ODI rankings

Dubai, Feb 8 (Agency) India women’s ODI skipper Mithali Raj and veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami continue to be on the second spot, as per latest ICC rankings released on Tuesday. The Indian duo sits on second place with 738 and 727 rating points in the bowling and batting list respectively. Australia’s Alyssa Healy topped with 742 ratings. Healy’s teammate Beth Mooney (719) is placed third and Amy Satterthwaite (717) of New Zealand is on fourth place followed by Smriti Mandhana on fifth spot with 710 points in the batting department. In the bowling list, Australia’s Jess Jonassen is placed on top with 773 points.

Sophie Ecclestone (717) of England jumped one spot up to take third place. Australia’s Megan Schutt dropped to no.4 position with 708 ratings, followed by Shabnim Ismail (689) on fifth place. In the all-round department, Ellyse Perry (407) moved one place up to regain top spot. England’s Natalie Sciver slipped to second place. Marizanne Kapp of South Africa is on third place with 327 points. India’s Deepti Sharma remained on no.4 position with 299 rating points. Katherine Brunt of England is on fifth spot with 284 points.
