New Delhi, Feb 3 (Agency) Priyanka Chopra is all set to begin her new Hollywood project titled “Ending Things” as she is set to share screen alongside Anthony Mackie, best known as The Falcon from the MCU movies. According to Deadline.com, the film is said to be inspired by James Cameron’s 1994 film “True Lies”, which featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in lead roles. The plot of “Ending Things” is said to revolve around a hit-woman, presumably Priyanka, who wants to pull the shutters on her assassin business. She also tells her “business” partner that she’s putting a full stop to their personal relationship as well.
However, she soon realises she doesn’t want to go ahead with the latter part and wants to preserve their bond. The actress was last seen in a supporting role of Sati, a wandering program in “The Matrix Resurrections”, the fourth film in the franchise. She will also be seen in “Text For You”, a romantic comedy that she filmed late 2020 and early 2021, as well as “Citadel”, an Amazon Prime global spy series, executive produced by Joe and Anthony Russo through their production company AGBO. In Bollywood, the actor was supposed to be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial “Jee Le Zaraa”, with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. However, with her baby arriving early and premature in January, she is rumoured to have stepped down.
“Jee Le…” was suppose to be wrapped by April, when the baby was due by surrogacy. With preterm she had to suspend her projects lined up. Mackie, meanwhile, was last seen in psychological thriller “The Woman in the Window” and anthology series “Solos”. He is all set to play the role of Captain America in the fourth film in the franchise. His MCU character Sam Wilson or Falcon had assumed the identity of Cap in the Disney Plus series following the events of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.
