BJP accuses Congress, SP of creating anti-Hindu sentiments

New Delhi, Jan 18 (FN Agency) The BJP on Tuesday accused Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) of humiliating Hindu community and creating anti-Hindu sentiments. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told the media that Ittehad-e-Millat Council chief Maulana Taukir Raza Khan was spreading hatred against Hindus and Congress was supporting him. Accusing Congress and the SP of indulging in politics to divide the society, Patra said, the two parties were trying to outsmart each other in patronising those spreading hatred against Hindus.

The BJP spokesperson said, Maulana Khan extended his support to the Congress in the presence of UP PCC chief. In a viral video, Maulana was seen threatening Hindus to make their life miserable in the country if they come to power. Maulana had even threatened to redraw the boundary of India. Patra alleged that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was giving party ticket to those facing grave criminal charges. He said the SP’s candidate for Dhaulana assembly seat Aslam Chaudhary had been indulging in creating communal rift between two communities. Patra said SP candidate from Kairana Nahid Hassan was responsible for migration of Hindus from the region, while another nominee Moharram Ali Pappu was the key accused in Saharanpur Gurdwara violence case. BJP spokesperson said the kind of language used by Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole against Prime Minister Narendra Modi was highly unbecoming. Patra said, lapse in the PM’s security in Punjab was an experiment by the Congress and not just coincidence.
