Hyderabad, Jan 17 (Representative) The Telangana Cabinet has decided to introduce English medium In all the government schools in the state from the next academic yea, it was announced on Monday. The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to introduce a new Act to control the fee structure of English medium, private schools, Junior, Degree Colleges in the state. In this regard a Cabinet-subcommittee headed by Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy was formed.
The members are, IT Industry Minister K T Rama Rao, Finance Minister T Harish Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy, Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Minister Koppula Easwar, Excise Minister Srinivas Goud and Power Minister Jagadish Reddy. To strengthen the infrastructure of the government schools, the Cabinet has also decided to allocate Rs 7,289 crore under “Our Village-Our School”.
