Glasgow, Nov 1 (FN Bureau) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday was received by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres as he arrived at the venue of the COP26 Leaders Summit in Glasgow. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi in a tweet said: “Together for our planet! PM @narendramodi received by UK PM @BorisJohnson and UN Secretary General @antonioguterres as he arrives at the Scottish Exhibition Centre to attend the World Leaders Summit of @COP26.”
The Prime Minister could be seen having a close chat with both the UK PM and the UN chief, with his arms around their shoulders. Later, the Prime Minister is set to have a bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Johnson. He will take part in the COP26 Leader Level event – ‘Action and Solidarity-The Critical Decade.
