New Delhi, Oct 19 (Representative) Delhi Police Economic Offences Wing on Tuesday arrested three persons in connection with siphoning off more than Rs 300 crore taken as loan from YES Bank and summoned Nira Radia for questioning in the case. The police claimed that two directors of Nayati Healthcare and Research NCR Pvt Ltd and one proprietor of Ahluwalia Construction, a dummy firm, were arrested in siphoning off more than Rs 300 crore taken as loan from YES Bank. The police said an FIR, 175/20, was registered in EOW police station, they have arrested Yateesh Wahaal and Satish Kumar Narula, both directors of Nayati Healthcare and Research NCR Pvt Ltd and Rahul Singh Yadav, proprietor of Ahluwalia Construction, a dummy firm, said RK Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police, EOW.
Police said a complaint was filed by Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma against Nayati Healthcare and Research NCR Pvt Ltd and its directors, Yateesh Wahaal and Satish Kumar Narula and others. It was stated that he was the Vice-Chairman and Executive Director and 6.3 percent shareholder of the company having its registered office at Khanpur. The complainant was also promised a remuneration of Rs 30 lakh per month as his professional fees for his services. It was alleged that the company took a loan of Rs 312 Crore from YES Bank for development of Gurgaon Hospital, but the money was not used for the said purpose and misappropriated by the alleged company. After preliminary enquiry, a case was registered on November 4 last year, under sections 409/420/467/468/471/120-B of IPC and investigation initiated. After investigation, the police conducted raids at three different places in Delhi and NCR simultaneously and apprehended three persons from their respective residences, Singh added.
