Rahul attacks Centre over rise in petrol prices

New Delhi, Oct 1 (Agency) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday blamed the Centre over the rise in petrol prices. In a tweet in Hindi, Mr Gandhi said, “Petrol prices are responsible for record breaking inflation. The Central government is responsible for the record breaking petrol prices.”

“One person is responsible for breaking all the wrong records,” he said without naming Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Gandhi in his tweet also tagged a media report over rise in fuel prices. Petrol and diesel prices rose for the second consecutive day on Friday. In Delhi, the petrol price rose by 25 paise, while diesel 30 paise.
