New Delhi, Sep 20 (Agency) Delhi Police on Friday busted an interstate gang of auto lifter and arrested six accused. Seven vehicles were recovered from them. Police said on the basis of specific information, the movement of the accused, who were suspects, was revealed in the area of Shahbad Dairy. A trap was planned and a raid was conducted and initially three accused, Sooraj, Ranjeet, and Sagar, were arrested. During questioning, names of other auto-lifters were also revealed, who were co-associates of above persons.
After that Arjun, Monu, and Ankit, all residents of Delhi’s Aman Vihar, were also apprehended. The accused were identified as Sooraj, Ranjeet, Sagar, Arjun, Monu and Ankit. On further interrogation, it was revealed that Sooraj with his co–associates Ranjeet and Sagar used to allegedly rob vehicles and sell them in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, DCP, Outer North Delhi, said.
