Jamshedpur, Sep 7 (Agency) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau have arrested a Sub Inspector posted at MGM Police Station while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000. The arrested has been identified as Mohan Kumar Singh. He was accepting a bribe from the complainant Binod Gope next to the NH-33. Later the team of the ACB also conducted raids at his residence located at Dimna Chowk.
The complainant Binod Gope had complained that Mohan Singh had demanded a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to manage a case after which he had registered a case with the agency. Post the verification of the complaint a trap was laid and the Sub Inspector was caught as soon as money exchanged hands. Mohan Singh is a sub inspector of 2018 batch.
