Hazaribagh, Sep 2 (Agency) Police on Thursday arrested six cyber criminals in this district and has recovered large number of bank passbooks, ATM cards and mobile phones. Briefing the press Hazaribagh SP Manoj Ratan Chouthe said from the arrested property related and land related documents have been seized. He said the police will be contact the ED and will make sure that the properties and accounts of all the arrested cyber criminals be seized. The arrested included Kishore Sao, Ramesh Kumar, Binod Kumar Sao, Gautam Kumar Nayak, Kedar Sao and Shyam Sundar Yadav.
Among them Kishore Sao is the leader of the gang. From the arrested apart from a four wheeler, a bike, 8 mobiles , 13 passbooks, 11 cheque books and 11 debit cards have been seized. The SP said that Kishore Sao has done his B Ed and is also wanted in a criminal case registered at Gorhar Police Station area in 2018. The SP said that a tip off had been received that some youth had gathered at the house of Kishore Sao in Banda Singha village who were involved in cyber fishing after which a team was constituted raids and arrested four cyber criminals while two others were nabbed from a separate location.
