CAB makes profit over Rs 53 Cr, Plans to give a complete facelift to Eden Gardens & set up a museum

Kolkata, Sep 2 (Agency) The Cricket Association of Bengal or CAB on Thursday announced that it has registered an excess of income over expenditure to the tune of Rs 53.09 crore and decided to give a complete facelift to Eden Gadens and set up a museum in its premises. A media statement said that CAB’s Apex Council passed a number of resolutions unanimously, including to appoint a CEO, a civil engineer and an electrical engineer to professionalise the organisational structure. ”

CAB has registered an excess of income over expenditure to the tune of Rs 53.09 crores,” the statement said. It has decided that the 29th AGM of the association would be held at ITC Royal Bengal subject to availing of all necessary permissions. The Council further also empowered the office bearers to book an auditorium for the purpose as a back-up. ” The CAB to work out a major infrastructure upliftment drive to give a complete facelift to Eden Gardens as well as other grounds and facilities and the proposed museum will be called Eternal Eden.”
