Mumbai, May 7 (FN Agency) The BSE Sensex on Friday spurted 256.71 pts to close high at 49,206.47 following gains in Metal, Materials, Telecom, Power and oil and Gas stocks amid strong global cues.
The Nifty too rose by 98.35 pts to 14,823.15. The sensex registered days high and low at 49,417.64 and 49,036.38 pts respectively. The Nifty recorded days high and low at 14,863.05 and 14,765.50 pts respectively.
