Mumbai, May 4 (Agency) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday slumped 465.01 points to settle at 48,253.51 as heavy selling was witnessed in Health Care, Consumer Durable, Telecom and Auto stocks. The Nifty fell by 137.65 points to 14,496.50. The Sensex registered day’s high and low at 48,996.53 and 48,149.45 pts respectively. The Nifty recorded day’s high and low at 14,723.40 and 14,461.50pts respectively.
