BJP admits in manifesto, Free education and healthcare will end: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Jan 22 (FN Agency) Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the BJP’s manifesto, claiming that the party has admitted in its two manifestos that they will shut down Delhi’s Mohalla Clinics and end free education in government schools.Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal said, “BJP has released two manifestos so far. Both manifestos are extremely dangerous not just for Delhi but for the entire country.” He accused the BJP of revealing its true intentions and motives. “Anyone who reads the BJP’s manifestos will be filled with outrage,” he said. “We have repeatedly stated that we made education free in Delhi. We have provided quality education for 1.8 million children in Delhi.

If these people come to power, they will end free education. Similarly, we have warned that if they take charge, free healthcare and electricity will also be stopped,” he asserted.”Four days ago, they released their first manifesto. In that manifesto, it is clearly mentioned that Delhi’s Mohalla Clinics will be shut down. The free healthcare provided to Delhiites through Mohalla Clinics and hospitals will be discontinued,” he added. The AAP leader further claimed that the BJP’s second manifesto suggests an end to free education in Delhi’s schools. “The manifesto states that needy students in government educational institutions in Delhi will be provided free education. This implies that free education for everyone will be stopped. It means people will have to go to their homes and plead for their children’s education to be made free,” he said.
