Majhi urges youth to help build a prosperous Odisha by 2036

Bhubaneswar, Jan 13 (FN Agency) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday called upon the youth to contribute to achieving the goal of building a prosperous Odisha by 2036. Addressing a function organised by the Rama Krishna Mission to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda being celebrated as National Youth Day, Majhi asked the youth to take a resolution on this day to establish our cultural and spiritual ideas at the global level along with striving for the economic prosperity of the country and the state. He said Swami Vivekananda is not a mere personality, but an eternal consciousness, a unique ideal, and a sacred symbol of living through spirituality.

The Chief Minister said the image of Vivekananda remains intact to date as a brilliant, eloquent, and great fighter ascetic. Vivekananda was a young ascetic who taught the youth of India to be proud of their identity. The Chief Minister said Swami Vivekananda’s speech at the Chicago Religious Conference created history. Through this, the world’s perspective on Indian religious and philosophical theories changed and we understood the importance of our religious and philosophical theories. The Chief Minister called upon the youth to take a resolution on this day to establish our cultural and spiritual ideas at the global level. Former Union Minister Pratap Sarangi also spoke on the occasion.
