Odisha to allot land to cognizant in Bhubaneswar to set up its biggest centre in India

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10 (Representative) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday assured Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar to allot land in Bhubaneswar to set up its biggest centre in India. Ravi Kumar met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in Janata Maidan at the sidelines of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention. Both discussed developing Cognizant campus in Bhubaneswar as its biggest centre in India. The Chief Minister assured the Cognizant CEO that the State Government would be pleased to allot land within Bhubaneswar city for development of Cognizant’s own campus facility and provide full cooperation for making it the biggest in India.

Ravi Kumar discussed the growth of its centre in Bhubaneswar and expressed confidence that it would grow even more rapidly in the next 5 years. Majhi sought the cooperation of the CEO Cognizant for bringing in further investments in IT/ITeS sector into Odisha. Ravi Kumar said he would provide all support to the endeavours of the State Government for bringing in investments and growth in the IT sector. The Chief Minister congratulated Ravi Kumar for the Pravasi Bhartiya Samman being conferred on him today.
