Contribution of Maha important for creation of new India: Yogi

Washim (Maha), Nov 7 (Agency) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Yogi Adityanath, said on Wednesday that the central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has resolved to make India world-class and in this, contribution of Maharashtra is important for creation of new India. Addressing a public rally while campaigning for the Mahayuti candidate from the Washim constituency Shyam Khode, he said, “Our aim is not only to get power, but our resolve is to bring glory to the country and regain prestige in the world.” He said that in this assembly election, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Mahayuti (grand alliance) is on one side and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the form of the ‘maha anadi’ (ignorant) are facing each other. This Aghadi, called ‘maha anadi’ (ignorant), has no respect for the country, religion or nationalism, he claimed and charged that they are not concerned about social values ​​and ideals.

Yogi Adityanath began his speech by invoking the founders of Hindu Swarajya Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj as well as Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule and Veer Savarkar. He said that Maharashtra gave birth to great men, saints and social reformers, who led the country. “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is our role model, who fought for the protection of values. Inspired by these values, the freedom struggle was carried out. I am here to remind you that we have to fight the same struggle now,” he said. Alleging that the Congress party has insulted Dr Ambedkar, he charged that the same Congress has constantly compromised the security of the country, with foreign powers challenging the country and terrorist activities taking place in the country, he added.
